01 Jan Mentoring

So it’s the new year and I have just attended another mentoring session in Manchester but this time I took 3 of the Dramadale group as actors. Today we worked on a specific piece of text ( from Midsummer Night’s Dream). We looked at starting points, how to understand the text without the need to read and reread it. It was a complex day and I certainly felt challenged but definitely worthwhile. The actors, Pat, Henry and Charlotte, got a lot out of the day. Once again it was good to work alongside groups from across the whole of the region.

AND….exciting news is that I have put in an application for a group of 6 Drama in the Dale actors and myself to take part in the RSC touring production of Midsummer Night’s Dream. Now waiting to hear if we are successful!
