After a nights rest we woke up to torrential rain…well it is Manchester! So taxis were booked to take us to Contact. The workshops for us today were movement and stage combat.

The movement session woke us all up and really extended our views of our own bodies. Some found this a bit of a challenge. We then moved on to how we used our bodies within a scenario where a distinction was made between need and want. The session ended with a magnificent performance by Adam playing a damsel in distress…luckily there was a hero on hand to rescue her!

The afternoon workshop was Stage Combat which was a useful review of what most of our group had already learnt from Laura and Tom. And of course a chance of vengence on dictorial directors!

Ben is determined to get the part!
