Audition day

Despite the rain and cold we have had a very successful audition day at Harehope Quarry. People came from far and wide – including cycling from Penrith…now that’s dedication!

After a selection of poetry, readings, sonnets and extracts from Shakespeare we managed to cast our play. As we had more lady auditionees we have altered the script to accomodate. This will give our production a different slant – a power struggle between women.

So now the rehearsing starts in earnest. Each week Paddy will run the Shakespeare for families alongside my Tempest rehearsals…so there is something for everyone.
