22 Apr As You Like It

So today was the first rehearsal of As You Like It. Initial thoughts were a bit apprehensive as many of the cast were new to Drama in the Dale but all that melted away as the day started. What a great bunch of people, enthusiastic and fun. Started the day with some games of trust to get people to know each other. Some of the group are familiar with Shakespeare whilst others have no experience of the bard. Introductions over and the day continued with more games to support spacing; some improvisation on part of the text followed by an introduction to states of tension. Looking forward to our next rehearsal.
